Partner, Clearline Consulting CPA
Bridget is a Partner with Clearline Consulting CPA and Clearline CPA. Bridget has over 15 years experience in the accounting industry, with a particular focus on training and facilitating professional development.
Bridget began her career articling with a mid-size accounting firm and spent the next 12 years as a leader in the audit and assurance practice, while managing internal training and firm development. During this time, Bridget facilitated accounting and assurance courses through the British Columbia Institute of Technology and Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia (CPABC) professional development programs. After leaving public practice, Bridget moved into a professional standards adviser role at CPABC where she continued to support and assist practitioners and members through the application of professional standards, and by serving as provincial representation on various national task forces and committees.
Seeing a need in the profession and, in particular in public practice, Bridget left CPABC and co-founded what is now Clearline Consulting. For the past three years, Bridget has been assisting practitioners through continued involvement with CPABC, the provision of monitoring and consulting services and the facilitation of professional development courses in BC, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
Through her work with clients in British Columbia, Saskatchewan and Manitoba, her involvement on various task forces and committees at CPA Canada and her continued relations with CPABC, Bridget continues to assist practitioners. Together with Tom Gillespie, CPA, CA, Bridget empowers CPA firms and practitioners with technical competencies, professional development, regulatory compliance, and practice management matters.
